{Claire Michelsen}

Claire graduated in May with a degree in Anthropology/Philosophy fromNew College. Her senior thesis is entitled: "Anthropology andPhenomenology of Birth" and involved original, on-site research andinterviews conducted over a six-month period with a midwife and clientsof a birthing home.

Claireis fluent in German and speaks some Spanish. Her most recent workexperience was as a Gallery Assistant at Canvas Cafe in Sarasota whereshe assisted in the curation and organization of art exhibitions and events, as well as developed and maintained working relationships with the press, clients,artists and businesses.

Claire has also been a volunteer for thepast two years with mack b gallery in Sarasota where she assisted inthe curation and preparation of exhibitions for display and introducedartists to visitors and answered questions at openings.
